While I agree proximity to healthcare is significant, the biggest challenge has always been people earning enought income to cover the cost of healthcare - all kinds of diseases, not just those outlined by government issued insurance cover. Two ways approach, incomes matching the cost of living and at the samw time subsidized cost of healthcare by both government ans private stakeholders

I really appreciated this piece and the point it raises. Increasing the number of facilities or bringing them physically closer is meaningful progress, but proximity alone doesn’t guarantee access. If people can’t realistically reach, afford, or use those services, the benefit remains theoretical rather than lived.
